JOSHUA WEINFELD I am a professional photographer who creates polished, highly crafted images for advertising in pursuit of making your brand better. A social person by nature, I engage my subjects in practically any environment and create expressive images that capture the moment without being heavily produced. I specialize in making photographs of people. My engaging approach creates a unique sensory experience that warms even the most guarded person, resulting in an intimate portrait and often inspiring something out of nothing. I capture brief moments on the street, in a coffee shop, in a scouted location and sometimes in more formal settings. It’s those common threads of shared experiences contrasted with differing perspectives that excite me to create new photographs. I work fast, but I deliver a polished final image. In twenty plus years of making photographs, I have connected with musicians, kids, models, captains of industry, soldiers, parents. Some famous, some not, but all energizing in their own way. These assignments have taken me all over the world, and I continue to seek new places and new faces. Some of my clients and publications that I’ve had the pleasure to collaborate with have included: Anheuser-Busch, AT&T, The Ad Club of Boston, Bizarre Magazine, BOSE, FLAUNT Magazine, Go Raw, Herb Pharm, Liberty Mutual, REEBOK, Rolling Stone Magazine, SLAM Magazine, Stitch Golf, Titleist, and Teen Elle. In my down-time, you can find me shooting from the hip on a mountain bike. My landscapes from extended bikepacking adventures traversing public lands are alive with untold stories, and some currently live in private collections and galleries. I do not have a cat called Boo, or a dog named Scout. But I do have a wicked portfolio and a few photos of small dogs in seriously big outfits.
